The Kentucky Derby combines all of our favorite things: exuberant fashion, sporting tradition, indulgent food and drink, lively music, and carousing. That's why we're hosting the 3rd annual Derby Party for the fine folks of the Bay Area. It's the ultimate excuse for a good time. Come join the fun with the San Jose Derby in Downtown Willow Glen on May 6, 2017 as we celebrate the 143rd Run for the Roses.

All proceeds benefit the Robby Paine Foundation

The Party

The San Jose Derby, like the Kentucky Derby, will be held on the first Saturday of May, rain or shine. Mark those calendars for May 6, 2017 because this is one party you'll never want to miss. The event is about coming together as a community to celebrate  great food, delicious drinks, impeccable style, wonderful people and  good fun.

The Venue

We're excited to move this year's party to Downtown Willow Glen! This charming, yet lively neighborhood is centrally located and will transport our guests to the South for a day at the races. The full bar, outdoor areas to mingle, eat and dance are yours for the taking! Join us as we takeover Downtown Willow Glen and expect more guest than ever!

The Reason

The San Jose Derby was created in memory of Robby Paine:  a son, brother, friend, student and San Jose resident. His love for celebration and hospitality is something we want to remember for years to come. This can't-miss philanthropic event supporting Robby's favorite causes is the perfect way to honor his memory.
